Lillard led Milwaukee with 29 points, Giannis Antetokounmpo recorded a triple-double, and Bobby Portis had a double-double coming off the bench.
The Cavaliers won the last two games against Milwaukee, but the Bucks won the first matchup this season with an eight-point victory in Cleveland at the end of 2023. After tonight’s game, the Cavaliers head out for a four-game road trip, including two games in Milwaukee.
On Wednesday night, Jarrett Allen extended his double-double streak to 10 games, a personal best. He’s now only one game away from tying the team record held by Elmore Smith and Andre Drummond. The All-Star center scored 21 points, grabbed 13 rebounds, and contributed three assists and a block in the win.
After the game, Mitchell talked about the team’s unity, emphasizing the positive atmosphere in the locker room. Despite facing challenges, he highlighted the support from teammates like DG and Evan, who are currently sidelined but remain actively involved and encouraging.
